This year our wonderful Luke 4:18 Committee organized a Christmas Toy Drive to help bring smiles to every child’s face on Christmas morning! This initiative will run from November 20th to December 13th. Along with unwrapped toys, we are also accepting gift cards. We are excited to announce that November 4 – 8 will be Anti-Bullying Awareness week at CTK. Throughout the week, students will engage in a variety of activities designed to foster empathy, respect and inclusivity within our community.
Beginning the 2024-2025 school year, all students in Year 2 of Kindergarten through Grade 2 in Ontario will participate in early reading screenings (ERS). This requirement by the Ministry of Education was in response to the Right to Read report and is endorsed by the Canadian Pediatric Society.
