Dear CTK Parents/Guardians,
Thank you to all families who took the time to participate in the Elementary Dress Code Preliminary Survey. We write to inform you that the survey results did not meet the required threshold of more than 30% of total eligible families in favour of a change. As a result, Christ The King will remain with our current Standardized Dress Code, and the preliminary review process for this school year has ended. In accordance with York Catholic District School Board Policy 219A: Elementary Dress Code, this decision-making process will not be repeated prior to the 5th year of dress code enforcement (the 2031/2032 school year), at which time the dress code will be reviewed again as per Board and Ministry guidelines. We appreciate your continued partnership and support in our Catholic school community.
