Shrove Tuesday (or Pancake Tuesday) is the day before the start of Lent, a period of fasting and reflection in the Christian faith. Pancakes were traditionally eaten on this day as a way to use up rich ingredients such as sugar, butter, and eggs that were forbidden during Lent.
Pancake Tuesday has become a fun and enjoyable tradition at Christ the King CES.
We are thrilled to be able to share this experience with all of our students on the morning of Tuesday, March 4th. Our students will be served delicious, nut-free, freshly made pancakes, with the option of syrup.
